Iguazu Wellness promotes free yoga class for World Welfare

The World Wellness initiative is promoted by World Wellness Weekend in partnership with Iguazu Wellness, from Foz do Iguaçu. On the morning of September 18, a free yoga class was held in the National Park on the banks of the Iguaçu River. The objective of the initiative is to offer the opportunity to enjoy all the natural therapeutic factors of the Iguaçu Falls. In order to hold this event, it was necessary to create logistics and the team had partners such as Cataratas SA, Parque Nacional do Iguaçu and Martin Travel.

During the class, since leaving the Cataratas Visitors Center, the group of 40 people had the experience of observing and enjoying the most exuberant nature that the Iguaçu National Park has. “I participated in the two activities that Iguazu Wellness promoted on the weekend of the event. It was two wonderful and inspiring days. Gratitude for the opportunity to have participated in these experiences”, defines Jandira Cordeiro.

The event aims to awaken the senses to enjoy more of what nature offers us and also improve the body by reactivating all functions for daily well-being. “In addition, yoga practice recharges and recycles energies with the strength and beauty of the power of the Falls”, defines yogi, Thiago Lopez Turcatti (@thiagoturcatti.yogi)

what is yoga
It is an ancient practice, originating in India and has won the world for promoting well-being in all aspects, such as mental, physical, emotional and spiritual, through body postures synchronized with breathing and meditation techniques.

The activity, recognized as beneficial to health by the WHO (World Health Organization), can be practiced by people who are looking to exercise, meditate, relax the body, work on concentration or even reduce anxiety. “Experiences of well-being in contact with the abundant nature of the Atlantic Forest rescues us for an awakening towards planetary sustainability and a conscious tourism where we can be in harmony with all beings”, exemplifies Juliane Ebling from the therapist and owner of Iguazu Welness (@iguazuwellness)
