The meeting of the group of pregnant women “Bem Gestar BC”, which takes place at the Casa da Família Emotional Intelligence Center in Balneário Camboriú, will have news this Friday (23). Starting at 1 pm, nurse Priscila Pimentel, from the Family Welfare Program, will teach mothers how to perform shantala massage on babies.

The nurse tells you what the benefits of massage are. “Shantala is a massage technique, which has the benefit of helping to relax the baby, stimulate immune resistance, improve body awareness, assist in the development of premature babies and create a greater bond between mother and child”.

The massage technique includes the actions of the Bem Gestar BC group, which is part of the Bem Estar da Família and Criança Feliz programs. Registration to participate in the groups can be done at Casa da Família, located at Rua 3.100, nº876, Centro, or by calling Criança Feliz – (47) 9982-1975.
