After going hungry, Endrick’s mother runs a business, takes courses with a coach and loves setting the table: who is Cintia Ramos

Until a few days ago, Cintia Ramos Souza was just Endrick’s mother to most people who follow the player’s career. But, after the repercussions of her participation in “Conversa com Bial”, she became a topic when she starred in a climactic affair with her daughter-in-law Gabriely Miranda. What few know, however, is that behind the nicknames mother and mother-in-law, there is a woman who has been taking advantage of the opportunities that her son’s football gave her family to become a successful businesswoman after many setbacks in life.

At 43 years old, Cintia decided to start a business. Mother of three, in addition to Endrick, she has an older daughter and a 4-year-old son, Cintia runs a children’s cosmetics brand, which is currently repositioning itself in the market. The venture is named after the youngest and was opened four months ago, with an initial investment of R$100,000.

To understand business and leadership, as well as career management, Cintia delved deep into the ocean of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) coaches and speakers. On her Instagram profile there are several records of her participating in immersive courses, such as the one she did during a cruise for businesswomen.

To think that Cintia arrived in São Paulo carrying her son, a suitcase and almost no reais in her wallet. She had to make a choice to support Endrick’s dream of becoming a football player. The proposal for him to play at Palmeiras’ base only provided for one of the parents to accompany the boy, and it was Cintia who took the lead and left Valparaíso de Goiás so that the future star would have a chance in national football.

When leaving her husband and daughter behind, she had no idea how difficult her new life would be. “He had a room to stay in and I had a little mattress, which I put in the living room every night. And we stayed there for about three months. I often went to the bathroom, cried and prayed, I wanted to go back, be with my family. But when I saw the sparkle in my son’s eyes when he came back from training, I asked God for the strength to continue. I wanted to work as a maid, iron clothes, but I couldn’t leave Endrick alone”, she said in an interview with ESPN.

Another striking characteristic of Cintia is her faith. Evangelical, it is quite common for her to caption even her outfits of the day with passages from the Bible. Vain, she enjoys showing off what she wears, the trips she can take, including abroad, her daily life with her family, her Pilates classes and every now and then she posts motivational messages.

But what fills Cintia with pride is being able to share the set tables she sets up for every meal, where she makes sure the whole family is present. For those who went hungry while betting on the future of Endrick’s millions, each of the photos of the abundant table has incalculable value.
