Tourist who recorded his own robbery before Madonna’s concert says he went after the thief and recovered cell phone
A tourist from Maranhão who came to Madonna’s show took a live video selfie when a thief snatched your cell phone from your hands. The incident went viral, as did the confusion in which suspected robbers were attacked and thrown into a dumpster.
Sergio Moura was showing Avenida Atlântica before Madonna took the stage, and suddenly a hand covers the camera — it was the robber. The live continues for a few more seconds, but all you can see is a rush.
The tourist said on social media that managed to get the cell phone back. He said he went after the criminal and stumbled, but was able to catch up to him and knocked him down, recovering the device. According to Sérgio, he did not register the case at the police station to take advantage of the city.
These items include knives, machetes, scissors and box cutters.
Still during the policing scheme, a man was arrested after being identified by the facial recognition system set up on several streets in the neighborhood, with more than 60 security cameras.

Until the last update of this report, neither the Civil Police nor the PM clarified the confusion.
Agents had found 3 knives, 1 frying pan, pans, 32 bottles of water and 70 coconuts. 4 tons of waste were also removed.
About 3,200 MPs were mobilized for the scheme.
