Singer Thalita Pertuzatti, ex-The Voice Brasil, used social media to vent about having sold just 11 tickets for a show scheduled for next Saturday (25), in Rio de Janeiro, in a place that, according to her own, has capacity for 1,400 people. “This is the appeal of a desperate Brazilian singer,” she said, in tears.

She then adds: “This makes me very scared because, as everyone knows me, I am the Brazilian Whitney. Eleven tickets were sold for 1,400 seats. And, amazingly: the ticket is not expensive! In fact, they only cost 25 reais. I am not sponsored by anyone.”

The singer participated in the reality show in 2012, on Claudia Leitte’s team. She reached the final of the competition and, during the program, was considered by the public as the “Whitney Houston of Brazil”, given her vocal power.

“I’m not here waiting for things to fall from the sky. I’m on the street, active, making things happen. I decided to share this here because I need your support. […] Maybe you can’t go to the event, but your neighbor can,” he said in the publication.

After crying, Thalita, who stated that she even avoids buying a glass of water on the street to save money and invest everything in her career, returned to Instagram to thank the increase in ticket sales. “The guys are creating a beautiful chain of good,” she thanked.
