With four attractions already confirmed, the Rock in Rio 2024 announced the date and ticket prices for the festival. The event takes place on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd of September next year, in Cidade do Rock, in Rio de Janeiro.
The Rock in Rio Card will go on sale on December 7th, at 7pm. The ticket type does not have a pre-defined date and the choice is made only after the attractions divided by date have been announced.
The ticket price is R$ 755 (full) and R$ 377.50 (half), without additional service fee. Payment can be made via Pix or credit card and paid in up to six installments. Customers who have an Itaú, Itaucard, Credicard or Iti card are entitled to a 15% discount (not cumulative with the half price) and can pay the purchase in up to eight installments.
The pre-sale takes place for members of the Rock in Rio Club, the festival’s benefit club, between November 30th, at 7pm, and December 6th, at the same time. Tickets will be sold exclusively by Ticketmaster Brasil.

Public opinion
Compared to the previous edition, in 2022, the price of Rock in Rio tickets had a significant increase. That year, the Rock in Rio Card cost R$545 (full) and R$272.50 (half).
As a result, some people criticized the organization of the festival. “The Rock in Rio ticket bomb increased the price, how hateful,” wrote one. “The price of the Rock in Rio card… My God, imagine the normal ticket”, agreed another. “They increased the price by half to overcrowd an event and you could watch a show 8 km away. That said, I will buy it on December 7th”, criticized a third.
Meanwhile, others compared the price to other events and decided that even with the increase, they will still buy the ticket. “I don’t know who has yet been confirmed for Rock in Rio, I just saw the price for half price and I was interested,” said one. “Rock in Rio beats Lollapalooza in terms of price and lineup, right”, said another. “The price of admission to Rock In Rio has increased, in other words, expensive artists are coming”, speculated another.
