Regina says she misses working as a director. “More than being an actress, directing in the theater. Taking an actor, taking a set designer, a group and putting together a show. Performing and seeing it on stage. It’s wonderful.”
The actress lived in “limbo” in 2022, after two unsuccessful attempts to return to the stage. Her name was rejected by authors who, according to the artist herself, “didn’t want to get involved.”
“I tried to do theater last year, but the two texts I chose were not approved by the authors. They didn’t want to get involved with me, for their own reasons, which I understand perfectly. So, I was left like that, a bit in limbo, the whole last year”, he recalled .
Fake news
Recently, Regina was again warned by Instagram for posting fake news of a political nature, this time against the singer Nando Reis, 60. The actress shared a distorted video with false boos to the singer during a performance at Rock in Rio, in 2022.
This was not the first time that Regina Duarte shared false information and was warned by Instagram. The platform has even put out a warning for anyone trying to follow the actress’ profile due to the repeated “false information” she replicates.
