Question about Caetano Veloso in Enem 2023

Approved National High School Examination (Enem) last Sunday, November 5th, contained a question about two songs by Caetano Veloso. The question generated doubt on social media, but gained great repercussion when the singer himself revealed that he didn’t know the answer.
The question asked what the song lyrics Joy Joyreleased in 1967 and later included on the singer’s LP the following year, and Trunk Angels, from 2021, had in common, “although they came from different historical moments”. Look:
This Tuesday, the 14th, Inep released the official test answer sheet, with the answer to the question. As revealed, the correct alternative is B“perception of the profusion of information generated by technology”.
On the 6th, Caetano’s wife, Paula Lavigne, published a video with his response. “When I read it, I thought it was all of them,” said the singer at first. After evaluating each of the alternatives, he settled on options B and D, which according to him, are the most “refined”. Watch:
O Estadão he even talked to teachers and experts, who evaluated the video and the Enem question about the musician’s works. One of them agreed with the singer about alternatives B and D, while the other two only opted for answer B. See the reasons here.
Answer B had already been identified as correct by most unofficial templates. According to experts who Estadão talked, the “secret” is not in the lyrics, but in the wording of the question and in the historical contexts.
