Michelle calls Roger Waters “decrepit” after singer doubts Israel

Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro called British musician Roger Waters on Tuesday (7.Nov.2023) “decrepit” after the artist said in an interview that “Israel invented stories” about the Hamas attack on October 7th.

“Oh, God! This decrepit man doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”Michelle wrote on Instagram.

The statements made by the former lead singer of the band Pink Floyd were given in an interview with journalist Glenn Greenwald published on Saturday (Nov 4).

At the time, Waters was asked by Greenwald whether he considers the Hamas attack to be justified. In response, the singer said that he does not support the action but that “The problem is that this took on another proportion when the Israelis invented stories about beheading babies”.

“They [israelenses] they even managed to get the president of the United States [Joe Biden] claimed to have seen photographs of decapitated babies.”. Biden made the statement on October 11. However, 1 day later, the White House denied the information.

The crime reportedly took place during a Hamas offensive in the Kfar Aza region, an agricultural community in the southern part of Israel. Tal Heinrich, spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told the portal LBC that the information comes from soldiers who were in the region. The crime has not been confirmed.
