This Tuesday (7) another edition of the Multishow Awards took place in Rio de Janeiro. At the awards ceremony, which named Iza “Artist of the Year”, Simone Mendes won best in the “Sertanejo of the Year” and “Hit of the Year” categories, competing against Ana Castela.
After the result, Fábio Borges, Ana’s manager, used social media to make some comments, which were perceived as indirect by internet users and divided opinions on the internet. “God knows all things”, said Fábio on X, formerly Twitter, before writing: “The ride really became a joke, huh? [risos]”.
In light of Fábio’s comments, fans of Simone and Ana decided to intervene and ask the businessman not to encourage female rivalry between the two artists.
“You are part of Ana’s management, you are linked to her image. Pay attention to the things you post, it stays there creating negative virality”, pointed out a user of the social network. A second replied, agreeing: “That’s exactly it. I love Ana and she’s young, she’s still going to compete and win lots of prizes. This only serves to create an unnecessary rivalry. I think it’s so ugly.”
After the repercussion of the posts, which were seen by more than 4 thousand people, Fábio deleted the publications.
In the early afternoon of this Wednesday, Simone took the opportunity to celebrate the achievement with a new publication on her Instagram profile. “I don’t even know what to say about this moment, about everything that’s happening in my life. I just know how to thank God for everything, for Him always being by my side at all times during my journey.”
In the comments of the publication, Ana Castela praises the singer: “You deserve it, babe, congratulations”, she wrote. Simone took the opportunity to thank and praise the young woman’s talent. “Thank you, my love. We will still meet a lot on the stages of life, and I will see you receiving many awards for your talent and charisma. You are a special princess.”
