Actress Regina Duarte posted on Instagram, this Thursday (2), a fake video in which Nando Reis makes a speech against former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and a crowd responds with shouts of “myth”.
The post, however, is false, as indicated by the platform itself. When clicking on the video post, the words “False information. The same information was analyzed by independent fact checkers in another publication” appears and you need to click at the end of the screen to see what it is about. According to the platform, the information was verified by Agência Lupa.
Duarte is a known supporter of Jair Bolsonaro and made other posts about the former president on social media, including on Thursday (2). After Nando Reis’ video, she posted another video in honor of the former president.
She joined the Bolsonaro government, at the Secretariat of Culture, in 2020. She stayed just under three months and left the position to take over the Cinemateca Brasileira, in São Paulo — which never ended up happening.
