5th edition of the Santos Festival Geek brings together national and international attractions; see the schedule | Santos and Region

The 5th edition of the Santos Festival Geek will be held starting this Wednesday (1st), in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. Scheduled until next Sunday (5), the event will bring national and international attractions to the Historic Center, alternating news from the geek world with pop culture personalities (check below).

Organized by the Department of Culture (Secult), the festival annually brings together dozens of attractions from the universes of geek, games, series, cinema, cosplay, among others. In 2022, around 85 thousand people attended the five days of free activities.

This year, the opening of the event will take place this Wednesday (1st), starting at 7:30 pm, at Teatro Sesc Santos. There will be a preview of ‘Mussum, the Filmis’. Actor Ailton Graça, in the main role of the feature film, will be present at the opening of the event.

The event’s attractions will be divided thematically into six locations of the Historic Center. The main stage will be installed at Arcos do Valongo, however, there will be segmented attractions for the public at Casa da Frontaria Azulejada, Mansão do Marquês, O Beco, in addition to the installation of a trailer stage, geek garage and games arena.

The festival will also feature chats with several guests, such as Mexican actor Edgar Vivar (Mr. Barriga, from the series Chaves), Fernando Caruso and the voice actress Carol Crespo, Sabrina Parlatore, Marina Person, Cazé Pecini, Edgard Piccoli and Luiz Thunderbird, between others.

Furthermore, the Tram Tourist Line will receive a special theme during the festival. At Valongo Station, tours of the Historic Center will be promoted through Themed Tram 9 ¾ Hogwarts. Tours take place daily, between 12:15 pm and 5:15 pm.
