Rio – Reporter Eduardo Tchao told in an interview to a podcast how he received the news of his resignation from TV Globo, after 37 years at the station. According to the journalist, he was in the middle of a story when he was notified of the dismissal.

“I just found the way it was a bit annoying. I was doing a story, I was giving a journalistic scoop, and it was an embarrassing situation because they called me in the middle of the story, for me to drop the story and be fired”, said Tchao in interview to the podcast “Cara a Tapa”.
