Ferradas and California will compete for the title of the Itabuna Interneighborhood Football Championship

The Ferradas and California teams will compete for the title of the 2023 Inter-neighborhood Football Championship next Sunday, the 26th, at the Fernando Gomes Oliveira Stadium. The two teams were the winners of the semifinals in yesterday morning’s matches watched by more than four thousand people who filled the Itabunão stands, in an atmosphere of celebration, joy and peace among the fans.

In the first game, which started around 9 am, with goals scored by Gel and Tarcísio, Ferradas easily beat São Lourenço 2-0 in an exciting and closely contested game. In the end, the experience of the Ferradian squad was worth it, whose fans put on a real show of excitement, having cheered intensely with the triumph.

In the second game, the rivalry, tough plays and catimba between California and Santa Inês marked the confrontation. It was up to Hannan to open the scoring in the first half, facing an opponent well positioned on the field.

At the end of the second half, it was up to Gabriel to tie the match in a well-constructed move by the Santa Inês attack and take the game to penalties and as they say in sports circles, goalkeepers have to be lucky. For this reason, California beat the opponent 2-0 and goalkeeper Papito was still chosen as the star of the round in the semifinals.
