According to Fiocruz, the event promotes integration and exchange of experiences between workers and the region’s population. In Rio de Janeiro, Manguinhos will concentrate most of the activities. The president of Fiocruz, Mario Moreira, and the Minister of Health, Nísia Trindade, will be present.
At the Medicines Technological Complex (CTM), in Jacarepaguá, blood pressure, capillary blood glucose, body bioimpedance and guidance will be carried out for the job market and on work safety and firefighter practice.
In partnership with the city of Rio, the Clínica da Família Lourival Francisco de Oliveira, in Cidade de Deus, will administer vaccines and fluoride, and the Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras) will register Bolsa Família beneficiaries, as well as provide guidance and exemption for Civil documentation.
The actions are organized by the Centro de Saúde Escola Germano Sinval Faria (Ensp/Fiocruz), by the Institute of Communication and Scientific and Technological Information in Health (Icict/Fiocruz), also by the Institute of Technology in Pharmaceuticals (Farmanguinhos/Fiocruz) and by the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology (Farmanguinhos/Fiocruz).
