This Friday (17), the Municipal Health Department continues vaccination against Covid-19 and flu (Influenza) in Porto Alegre.
The public eligible to receive the bivalent vaccine, available in all health units in the Capital, includes those aged 18 or over, people with comorbidities aged 12 or over, with permanent disabilities aged 12 or over, pregnant women, postpartum women, immunocompromised from 12 years of age and health professionals, all with a complete primary vaccination schedule, that is, who have had at least two doses previously. Doses of the monovalent vaccine against Covid-19 will be accessible in 42 locations.
Are immunocompromised or immunosuppressed:
– People with solid organ or bone marrow transplants.
– People living with HIV (PLHIV).
– People with active immune-mediated inflammatory diseases and using corticosteroids in doses ≥ 20 mg/day of prednisone, or equivalent for ≥ 14 days. Children: doses of prednisone, or equivalent, ≥ 2 mg/kg/day for more than 14 days up to 10 kilos.
– People using immunosuppressants and/or immunobiologicals that lead to immunosuppression.
– People with inborn errors of immunity (primary immunodeficiencies).
– People with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis.
– Cancer patients who underwent chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatments in the last six months.
– People with hematological malignancies.
Babies and children
Babies from 6 months to children up to 5 years old can also be immunized against the disease, with a specific vaccine for the age group. The vaccination schedule for this group is three doses.
Documentation – Identity document of the father, mother or legal guardian and the child. Parents or legal guardians must be present at the time of application or the person accompanying the child must present authorization and a vaccination card.
Children aged 5 to 12 years (11 years, 11 months and 29 days)
First dose, second dose and booster.

From 7am to 9:30pm: Álvaro Difini Family Clinic, Campo da Tuca, Chácara da Fumaça, Director Pestana, IAPI, José Mauro Ceratti Lopes Family Clinic, Modelo, Morro Santana, Navegantes, Ramos, Santa Marta, São Carlos, Tristeza, Primeiro de Maio and Moab Caldas.
From 8am to 4:30pm: Divisa, Fradique Vizeu, Ilha dos Marinheiros, Lomba do Pinheiro and Santa Cecília.
From 7am to 6:30pm: Cristal, Sarandi, Glória, Lami, Nossa Senhora de Belém, Restinga, Camaquã, Moradas da Hípica, Assis Brasil, Panorama, Passo das Pedras 1, Rubem Berta, Ipanema, Nova Brasília, Campo Novo, Vila Ipiranga and Villa Jardim.
From 8am to 5:30pm: Jardim Itu, Parque dos Maias, Costa e Silva and Sesc.
The Mato Sampaio Unit will be open from 8am until 7:30pm.
Flu vaccination
The city hall has expanded the number of people eligible to receive the dose against influenza viruses (flu) to everyone over 6 months of age. The vaccine is available in all health units in the city.
