Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) announced, this Friday (23/9), that the Government of the Federal District (GDF) should start vaccination with the fourth dose of the public aged 30 years or older starting next week. The information was given by the head of the local Executive in a campaign agenda for reelection in Ceilândia.
“I got news today (23/9), through the secretary of Health, that more doses are arriving for this public”, he said.
According to Ibaneis, the DF also awaits the arrival of immunizers to serve children. “We hope that this coming week, at the beginning of the week, we will resume the vaccination of children and those who are waiting for the booster dose of Coronavac”, he added.
“We want to reduce to 30 years and also vaccinate that public of minors. We are just waiting for the confirmation of the doses with the Ministry of Health”, added Ibaneis.

In total, there will be 14,520 doses for resumption of childhood vaccination (3 and 4 years old) and application of the second dose against Covid-19.
Also known as the second booster dose, D4 was already available to all people aged 35 and over and to health professionals, both public and private, including pregnant women. Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Janssen immunizers are applied, according to the user’s choice.

Users must appear with a photo ID, CPF and the vaccination card containing the registration of the booster dose or the second dose, for those who will receive the first booster. It is mandatory to wear a mask for vaccination.
