Of the 1,694,803 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,663,407 are considered recovered, 700 are active and 30,696 patients have died, but Sesab warns that these data may still change.

The data also show the rates of occupation of exclusive beds for patients with the disease. In the state, the general occupancy rate is 19%, and in Salvador, 28%. [Confira detalhes ao final da reportagem]

These data represent official notifications compiled by the Board of Epidemiological Surveillance in Health of Bahia (Divep-BA), with municipal surveillance and the Ministry of Health databases until 5 pm this Thursday.

So far, Bahia accounts for 11,655,724 people vaccinated with the first dose, 10,817,972 with the second dose or single dose, 7,300,633 with the booster dose and 2,207,918 with the second booster.

Of the public aged 5 to 11 years, 1,043,407 children have already been immunized with the first dose and 676,098 have also taken the second dose. Of the 3- and 4-year-olds, 47,223 had their first dose and 7,742 had already taken their second dose.

Bahia has 310 active beds for the treatment of Covid-19, of which 59 are with inpatients, which represents an overall occupancy rate of 19%. Of this total, 125 are adult ICUs and have an occupancy rate of 19% (24 beds occupied).

In pediatric ICUs, 8 of the 20 vacancies are with patients (40% occupancy). Clinical beds for adults are at 6% and pediatric beds at 95%.

In Salvador, 54 of the 195 active beds are occupied, with an overall occupancy rate of 28%.

Adult ICUs register 25% occupancy, with 20 of the 80 beds occupied. Pediatric ICUs, on the other hand, account for 53%, with 8 of the 15 beds occupied. The occupancy rate of clinical beds for adults is 9% and pediatric beds 95%.
