Several famous people are mobilizing in a chain of solidarity to help the victims of the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul. Some of them decided to travel to the state of Rio Grande do Sul and act personally as volunteers in this difficult time. On social media, they share, when they can, their routine in the regions affected by the rains and shelters.
Activist Luisa Mell was one of these people. On her profile, with more than 4 million followers, she shows the day-to-day life of animal rescues in RS and also videos with some stories of the animals saved. This Friday (10), she shared the bruises on her body that appeared amid routine actions in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Pedro Scooby, Lucas Chumbo and other surfers traveled to the region on jet skis to help with rescue efforts. The group has already managed to find a person who was missing, rescue others from places where the water was high and also some animals. On the networks they show and repost some of these moments, in addition to publicizing other actions and ways to donate.
Another former BBB who went to RS to help was Davi, champion of the 24th edition of the program. The Bahian has been collecting carts of food and was also in a rescue operation with a boat. He has been making videos updating his almost 10 million followers on the actions he has taken, as well as showing the reality in some places, such as a hospital cafeteria, for example.
Doctors and former “BBB” participants, Amanda, Thelminha and Marcela MC Gowan, also volunteered as health professionals to help in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The three worked at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças, in Canoas, where the “BBB 23” champion continues to work in the ICU. Thelma and Marcela also worked in shelters. Whenever they find time, they use social media to raise awareness about the situation in RS.
Cezar Balck, ex-BBB and nurse, also decided to personally go and help in the health sector in Rio Grande do Sul. He arrived in the state this Friday (10) and shared parts of the journey on social media.
DJ Barbara Labres returned to her home state with a chartered jet with donations for the victims. On her profile, she shows the delivery of donations to people affected by the rains and moments in Arroio do Meio, the city where she grew up. Furthermore, she reports on her experience alongside family members who live in the region.
