Richie participated in a recent edition of The Allison Hagendorf Show and spoke about a possible return to the band that made him famous.
“Fans would love [o retorno]. It’s not about finances [atrapalhando]. It has nothing to do with that”, declared the guitarist, according to a transcript published by the website Loudwire. According to Richie, one of the factors holding back his return to the group is the vocal problem that Jon Bon Jovi has been facing.

“As Jon said, he’s having trouble with his voice. And now he’s had that operation with a plastic thing on his larynx. And it’s a dodgy thing at best. I don’t know if there’s anyone who’s ever had success with that.” . I’m not sure about that.
“Physiologically, it doesn’t seem nearly possible. Your brain teaches this plastic thing how to work. Almost like you have to relearn how to talk, in a way,” added Sambora, who ultimately made it clear that he would return to the band if Jon Bon Jovi solved problems with his voice.
“If he recovers [sua voz]I will play.”
