Felipe Neto and Giovanna Ewbank want to adopt Caramelo horse after rescue in RS

A horse that remained isolated on a roof in Rio Grande do Sul for at least four days touched thousands of people and, on Thursday morning (9), a team from the Fire Department rescued the animal. Some celebrities who are involved in helping the state were touched by the story and offered the horse a home.

Felipe Neto shared on social media that he would send help to the mare as soon as possible. In the first moments of this Thursday (9), he has been following the situation and celebrated the rescue.

The YouTuber took the opportunity to offer himself to adopt her: “Caramelo is a mare! I announced that I want to adopt her, but they are researching whether she already has an owner. If you allow me, I will give her everything I can… And her name will be Caramela. Let’s wait and trust the veterinarians, as she is still at risk.”

Likewise, actress Giovanna Ewbank shared an emotional text and offered shelter. “Caramelo, the last few days the crying was stuck in my throat. And today it came, loose, loose, with a little relief in the midst of so much pain. You have become a symbol of hope, resistance, strength and love,” she wrote.

“Brazil stopped to see you and fight for you because you have represented a people who fight and resist. A people who don’t lose hope, who get back on their feet even though it seems like there’s no way to get back up. A people where humanity and generosity are stronger than a divided country. Caramel, you mean a lot. You mean the union, the people and the animals of this tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul. And more Caramelo, today you brought certainty: There is hope”, he added.

She concluded: “I hope you recover soon Caramelo. And I imagine that many people must want to give you a home and love, but know that if you want, we here at home also want to give you love and a home!”

The horse ‘Caramelo’ was there days Islanded on a roof in Canoas, in Rio Grande do Sul, he was rescued this Thursday (9), by state rescue teams.

The horse’s transfer to dry land took around 1 hour. The animal was placed in an Army cavalry truck and sent for veterinary care.
