Christina Rocha cries when talking about loss after leaving SBT: ‘horrible day’

Christina Rocha, 69 years old, expressed tears on social media when she reported that she had suffered a “horrible” loss. His pet dog, Billy, aged 17, died on Tuesday (7). Today, the former SBT presenter decided to pay tribute to the animal with a video posted on her profile.

“Today was a horrible day. My dog, Billy, just passed away. Seventeen years old. I had a very strong bond with him,” she says, crying.

This Wednesday (8), Christina posted a video of the puppy and declared: “I love you forever, my beautiful and unforgettable Billy! Thank you for such great love dedicated to me in these 17 years of life… I love you and I will love you with immeasurable intensity.”

She concludes: “Continue playing with your little ball in heaven and being that incredible and beautiful dog! I will always pray for you in that little corner that you know so well in Campos do Jordão that you loved so much! I will never forget you, my ball catcher.”

Leaving SBT

Last Thursday (2), SBT announced that Christina Rocha was leaving the broadcaster and that the decision was “by mutual agreement”. Shortly afterwards, the former presenter of “Casos de Família” used social media to talk about the real reason he left the channel.

According to Christina, the broadcaster promised her a program with the profile of an “electronic magazine”, but placed her on “Tá na Hora”, which debuted recently and is more journalistic.

“The program’s premiere came. I already knew, but I tried to do it in the first few weeks, but in the meantime, I always said that it wasn’t my profile, I like people, entertainment, the audience, scolding, laughing, falling on stage” , he commented.

Therefore, on April 30th, Christina scheduled a meeting to announce that she would not continue on the program. “Do you know when she’s proud of you? I said ‘no’ to something that wasn’t doing me any good. Sometimes we are afraid, but, for me, being mentally well is very important today.”

With the presenter’s departure, Márcia Dantas, who commanded “SBT Brasil” before César Filho’s arrival, officially remains in the position.
