Davi Brito displays proof after controversy over Pix of donations to RS
Champion of “BBB 24”, Davi Brito shared this Wednesday (8) proof of the purchase of a water cart destined for Rio Grande do Sul. The attitude comes after the Bahian was questioned for disclosing the Pix key for an account on His name.
Through Instagram Stories, Davi published proof of an Electronic Funds Transfer, which details the purchase of a water trailer worth R$41,880.00.
“Good afternoon, everyone. The first truck as promised is already heading towards Rio Grande do Sul, there in Canoas, these people will be receiving 24 pallets of water there to replenish the people. That’s the first one, but we’ll try to send even more , more water for these people, so that they don’t have to face difficulties in terms of water, okay? So let’s do our best”, he declared.
The accountability through Instagram comes amid criticism directed at the Bahian for publishing a Pix key in his name to raise donations.
The one who was incisive in criticizing him was ex-BBB Ana Paula Renault. “Very inconsistent information. Pix itself publishes and doesn’t talk about accountability… I really don’t understand. The cities in the south have their entire infrastructure damaged, rationing of water, food, everything. Going there without being through the program of volunteers will only disrupt the region even more”, he declared via Instagram.
Crisis in Rio Grande do Sul
The state of Rio Grande do Sul has been in a state of crisis since Monday (29), when the region was severely affected by torrential rains. The climate catastrophe left several municipalities in a critical situation of flooding. This Wednesday (8), the Civil Defense bulletin updated the level of damage, recording 100 deaths, 372 injured and 128 missing.
