In a post on Instagram, they informed their followers that they will work at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças.
In videos for the platform, the doctors appealed for donations after seeing the region’s emergency needs. Thelma, champion of Big Brother Brazil 20, will work in the operating room. “We just arrived here in Canoas. We are at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças, which is receiving high demand from the population. I had a meeting with the hospital director, I was reassigned to the operating room and I will work in anesthesia,” she said.
“You can help from anywhere in Brazil with medicines and hospital supplies. I’m talking about glove, jelco [cateter intravenoso]team [dispositivo que transporta alguma substância até o paciente] and saline. Companies that work with this can get in touch using this email that we will leave here and the hospital will find a way to establish logistics for this material to get here. All help is welcome”, he concluded.
Marcela, who also participated in the Big Brother Brazil 20, reinforced the request for contributions. “A lot of people who are coming here are coming very wet. So, we need help with clothes, blankets, socks, coats and towels. Anyone from the city [Canoas] and you can bring the donation directly here, great. Anyone from abroad can send [mensagem] to this email and we will organize the logistics for collection. If you are a brand that wants to collaborate on something, send it to this email”, he informed.
Amanda, champion of Big Brother Brazil 23, added necessary items for the patients they found at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Graças. “We need your collaboration: donations of clothes, injectable medications and food. The pain of a Brazilian is the pain of everyone. Let’s help”, he concluded.
