The rains in Rio Grande do Sul are leaving thousands of people homeless in the state. The state has already recorded 83 deaths and 111 missing people, in addition to so many victims who lost everything they had and had to leave their homes.
Outside of Rio Grande do Sul, people are mobilizing to contribute donations to those suffering from the disaster. Many celebrities have decided to use their fame and money to help in some way whoever is in need at the moment. See list!
1) Madonna
Madonna performed the biggest show of her career this Saturday (4) at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. However, the Queen of Pop was aware of the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul. According to columnist Erlan Bastos, from the website Em Off, Madonna donated R$10 million to the victims of the rains in secret during her visit to Brazil.
2) Anita
In addition to talking to her followers about what is happening in Rio Grande do Sul, Anitta made one of her trucks available to help with the rescue and distribution of supplies to the victims. “I am making one of my trucks available so that together with Cufa and you who are watching this video, we can help people who were victims of this environmental disaster“, he stated.
3) Peter Scooby
Pedro Scooby managed to bring together several athletes who work in water sports, such as surfer Lucas Chumbo, to travel by car to Rio Grande do Sul and help rescue families isolated by the waters with jet-skis and other high-performance equipment.
4) Whindersson Nunes
Whindersson Nunes ran a major campaign to raise money for the victims of Rio Grande do Sul, which has already exceeded R$3 million. Furthermore, he himself made donations and even asked Vasco da Gama to lend the Estádio São Januário so that he could put on a benefit show in favor of the victims, which the club granted.

Luísa Sonza also planned a benefit show for the victims of the disaster in Rio Grande do Sul. The gaúcha has already confirmed the presence of celebrities such as Pocah, Lexa and Duda Beat.

Virginia revealed that she donated R$150,000 divided into different fundraising methods. Furthermore, she revealed that all the clothes that would have been sold at a bazaar organized by her will now be donated to flood victims.
8) Felipe Neto
Felipe Neto highlighted on social media the importance of donating mineral water to the victims of Rio Grande do Sul. He revealed that he bought 30 thousand liters of mineral water to be sent to Porto Alegre.
9) João Gomes
Singer João Gomes revealed that all the fees received from the last show he performed this Sunday (5) were converted into donations for the victims in Rio Grande do Sul.
10) Gustavo Lima
Gusttavo Lima announced that all proceeds from his next traditional ‘Boteco’ festival will be allocated entirely to flood victims.
11) Matteus Amaral
Matteus, runner-up on ‘BBB 24’, helped put one of the main fundraisers for flood victims in the spotlight. The campaign already has almost R$30 million in donations.
12) Fresno
The band Fresno announced that they will do a live on next Tuesday (7), at 2pm, to raise money for the victims of the tragedy.
