Matheus Mazzafera confirms gender transition and announces new name

Matheus Mazzafera broke his silence and returned to social media this Thursday, 2nd, to confirm that he underwent a gender transition. At 43 years old, the YouTuber and former reporter for the “Video show” is now called Maya, a name that already appears in her documents (see below).

In addition to changing her social name, she underwent some facial feminization procedures, plastic surgery that softens features, in addition to having silicone implants in her breasts.

“Sometimes, what we need is to go back to our mother’s womb… but that option is not possible. I was surviving and not living. I had to take a break from everything to find myself. It was that or go away to another plane I needed to stay away from the internet and treat myself. But I’m going back and I want to tell/share everything with you who have always been with me”, she posted on social media last month.

Also a fashion producer and presenter, Matheus Mazzafera is known for controversial interviews with artists on his YouTube channel and was a reporter for the ‘Video show’ in 2018.
