Barbra Streisand spoke out on social media after a comment she made on a photo of actress Melissa McCarthy went viral. At the time, the “Tammy” star posted an image on Instagram alongside friend Adam Shankman, on their way to an event at the “Center Theater Group”. “Just pastels to honor the incredible Matthew Bourne,” she wrote.
However, one response among the comments caught attention: “Give him my regards. Did you take Ozempic?” The comment was from none other than Barbra Streinsand. Ozempic is an injectable medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes. However, many people, including celebrities, have used it to lose weight.
Immediately, internet users began commenting on the veteran actress’ “gaffe”. “She probably thought it was a DM [mensagem privada]”, commented on a profile. “She was like, ‘have a good day, you fat girl’”joked another. “I died laughing at the comment”revealed a third.
