In Tropical paradisesoap opera originally aired in 2007 and currently being rerun on Worth seeing again from TV Globo, the actor Caio Junqueira made a special appearance playing the character Romeo. What many people don’t know, or don’t remember, is that the artist has already died.

Caio was just 42 years old when he passed away in a very tragic way. On January 16, 2019, the actor suffered a car accident at Aterro do Flamengo, in Rio de Janeiro. He underwent surgery and was hospitalized for a week, however, he did not survive and died on the 23rd of that month.

Caio Junqueira made his TV debut at the age of 8, in the series Family Sizefrom the extinct Manchete, in 1985. Afterwards, he participated in famous soap operas on TV Globo, such as Desire (nineteen ninety), Surrogacy (nineteen ninety), The trip (1994), Funny (1995), Workout (1998), Chiquinha Gonzaga (1999), The Fifth of Hell (2002), among other productions.

One of the actor’s most recognized works was in the film Elite squad (2007), where he gave life to the aspiring Neto. In addition, he acted in several soap operas on Record TV. His last work was in series O Mechanismproduced by Netflix in 2018.
