Singer Adele said she intends to end her self-ban on alcohol soon. The 35-year-old Brit spoke about the subject with the audience present at her show in Las Vegas, reports the The Sun It is DailyMail this Wednesday (8).
Last month, the celebrity said that she had stopped drinking three months ago and admitted that she was once close to becoming an alcoholic. “I stopped drinking about three and a half months ago. It’s boring,” said Adele. “Like, I was borderline alcoholic for much of my 20s, but I miss it so much. I also cut out caffeine.”
Now, Adele assured that she is ready to return to her good drinks to “celebrate the end of the second stage of her shows”. “I’m just going to relax. I’m also irritated about being sick because the weather is for red wine”, she admitted, without detailing the health problem.
“I stopped drinking, but obviously now I’m ready to start again, because it’s my break. And I can’t ever drink red wine when I’m singing because I don’t know about you, but red wine brings me down,” she continued.
The artist explained that drinking has taken her down more than usual: “A glass of red wine takes me to the limit. I get the worst hangover, my whole mouth and tongue turn red. I look like a wreck and it ruins my voice.” When addressing the illness again, Adele said that she had an expensive bottle of fancy wine at home, but that she will have to wait to “treat me”.
“Too fast”, worried one internet user in the comments section of the English website. “Worrying sign”, considered another.
Last August, also during one of her shows in Las Vegas, Adele spoke about her difficulty in stopping her coffee addiction. She reported that she drank 25 cups of decaffeinated coffee to satisfy her addiction.
“I had a dull headache for two days because I stopped [com o café]. My head was throbbing. It was like there was a drill inside my head. Was heavy. It’s been harder than quitting smoking, harder than quitting alcohol,” he said recently.
