Recently, Sylvester Stallone, 76, and Jennifer Flavin, 54, announced their separation after 25 years of marriage. However, now, the ex-couple seeks to close a private agreement and suspend the process in court.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the two did not enter into a prenuptial agreement when they married in 1997, leaving millions of dollars up for grabs. In addition, they intend to proceed with the divorce, but plan to do so privately, without disclosing what is negotiated.
“The parties agree that it is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more importantly, collectively, as a family, to resolve all matters relating to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, amicable and private manner outside of court,” the documents read.
The one who filed for divorce was Jennifer Flavin. According to her, the relationship was “hopelessly broken” and Sylvester Stallone had transferred marital assets, which the actor denied.
On the other hand, this Monday, the star raised doubts about the divorce. On his Instagram, he posted a photo with his wife and daughters and wrote “wonderful”. With the new documents obtained by TMZ, there’s a possibility that the two are just planning to have a more amicable parting.
