The Volkswagen Virtus 2025 is now on sale and has some corrections to its equipment list, along with an increase in prices for all versions, reaching R$2,300.
The look of the car has not changed, but now all versions have a VW Play central unit as standard. The equipment has a 10-inch screen and ensures that Android Auto and Apple Carplay work wirelessly.

Volkswagen Virtus 2025 engines
170 TSI: The Volkswagen Virtus’ weakest engine has 116 hp and 16.5 kgfm of torque. This 1.0 turbo with direct injection is found in the two entry-level versions (called 170 TSI), available with a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of performance and consumption, the manual version meets the 0 to 100 km/h in 11.2 seconds and the automatic in 10.5 seconds. As indicated by Inmetro, the manual Virtus TSI has a consumption of 13.8 km/l in the city and 16.3 km/l on the highway with gasoline. The automatic version records averages of 12.4 km/l in the city and 15.6 km/l on the highway.

200 TSI: as vIn the intermediate versions of the Virtus, Comfortline and Highline, the same 1.0 turbo engine is used in a configuration with 128 hp and 20.4 kgfm of torque. In our tests, the Virtus Highline completed the 0 to 100 km/h test in 10.8 seconds and achieved average consumption of 12.5 km/l in the city and 17.7 km/l on the highway, with gasoline.

250 TSI: Only the Virtus Exclusive uses the 1.4 TSI engine, capable of delivering up to 150 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque, again combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. With more power, this engine improves acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to 9.4 seconds. Consumption is 11.7 km/l in the city and 16.5 km/l on the highway, with gasoline.

Volkswagen Virtus TSI MT 2025 – R$ 111,990
Entry version, the Virtus 1.0 Turbo 170 TSI with 116 hp and 5-speed manual transmission, with 6 airbags, LED headlights, induction smartphone charging, 8” inch digital instrument panel, 15” alloy wheels in addition to the great news that all versions now equip the VW Play 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia center compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2024 line offered this version starting at R$109,990, and now it costs R$2,000 more, being R$111,990 for the current version.
Volkswagen Virtus TSI AT 2025 – R$ 119,990
For the same version, however, with a 6-speed automatic transmission and accompanied by the same 1.0 turbo 170 TSI engine with 116 hp. This TSI comes standard with: Adaptive speed and distance control, start-stop autonomous braking, LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and a multifunctional leather steering wheel with paddle shifters. And it costs R$1,650 more, reaching R$119,990. It is worth mentioning that both versions now equip the VW Play control unit as standard.

Volkswagen Virtus Comfortline 2025 – R$ 130,990
For the intermediate version, VW offers the Virtus Comfortline which equips a 1.0 turbo 200 TSI engine, capable of generating up to 128 hp accompanied by a 6-speed automatic transmission. The version comes standard with: rear reversing camera, leather seats, 16” alloy wheels, 6 speakers, height adjustment for headrests, digital air conditioning and fog lights. The version had an additional cost for the 2025 line of R$2,000, now it is offered from R$130,990.
Volkswagen Virtus Highline 2025 – R$ 141,990
The Virtus Highline is the most expensive with a 1.0 TSI engine, the same one that powers the Comfortline (with 128 hp and six-speed automatic transmission). The differences between both versions are in relation to the car’s standard items, which are: electrochromic internal rear-view mirror, electronically folding external mirrors, 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, 17-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors, rain and tiredness and distraction recognition system. The Highline received an increase of R$2,000 compared to the 2024 version, and now costs R$141,990.

Volkswagen Virtus Exclusive 2025 – R$ 154,790
Finally, the top-of-the-line version of the Volkswagen sedan, the Virtus Exclusive. The engine is already different, equipped with a 1.4 Turbo 250 TSI with 150 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque, with a 6-speed automatic transmission. And as standard, it features: ECO mode and driving mode selection, sports bumper and 18” alloy wheels. The Exclusive version was the most expensive, now being offered from R$154,790 – an increase of R$2,300.
