A BYD presented another interesting concept during the Beijing Auto Show. This is the Ocean M Hot Hatch, an electric model that has fun behind the wheel as one of its main attributes. In general, the model mixes elements similar to other famous cars and has a more aggressive look.

To begin with, the concept is similar in size to the Toyota Corolla, as well as aerodynamic inserts on the side and front and a spoiler. At the front, the vehicle has features that refer to those displayed by the Lamborghini Aventador. It is also worth highlighting the rear-view mirrors with equipped cameras.

Meanwhile, the door handles are recessed, similar to what you see on the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV. BYD’s idea is to position this car between the Dolphin and Seal, and it will be built with a new type of electrical architecture. For now, it is not yet known what the mechanical characteristics of the model are.

Availability and possible price

The Ocean M is expected to reach the Chinese market in September this year. It should then be sold in Europe, but should not reach the North American market and there is no mention of possible sale in Brazil. The price, in turn, will be equivalent to something in the range of R$969,367 and R$1,292,490.
