Bernard Arnaultthe richest man in the world today – according to the list of Forbesthe net value of his fortune exceeds that of Elon Musk, reaching US$207.8 billion (around R$1 trillion at current prices) – he owns several luxury properties, a yacht and even an island.

Check out some of the assets that the 74-year-old French businessman, president and CEO of the luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) – which brings together 75 luxury fashion and cosmetics brands, such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Tiffany & Co and Sephora -, owns and can enjoy:

In his home country, Arnault has a mansion in Paris, where he keeps his collection of modern and contemporary art with paintings by some of the most famous artists in the world, such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso.

In Bordeaux, the businessman and his wife, Helene Arnault, have enjoyed Chateau Cheval Blanc since 1998, a 150-year-old castle built on a 41-hectare plot of land and surrounded by vineyards in Saint-Emilion. There are 34 luxurious rooms, private chalet, penthouse with balcony and mountain views, a huge heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi.

Bernard also has a house on the island of St. Tropez, which he only visits during holidays. The villa is hidden in the private condominium Les Parcs, considered the most luxurious in France.

The billionaire also owns properties in Beverly Hills, California, estimated to be worth around US$125 million (R$618 million). The plan is to demolish the current buildings and build a new property on the large available land.

In addition to his homes and land, Arnault owns Indigo Island in the Bahamas. To enjoy the 133 acres exclusively, the billionaire paid US$35 million (R$173 million). The place has properties that can be rented for a few thousand dollars per day.

And there’s nothing like a beautiful boat to get to the island (or sail wherever you want). The businessman is the owner of the 101.5 meter Symphony yacht, externally decorated by Tim Heywood Design and internally decorated by Zuretti Interior Design. The estimated value is 130 million euros (R$697 million).
