247 – The president of Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates, has directly refuted any attempt at misinformation in the press about projects being carried out by the company. That’s what he did this Sunday, on his social networks, with the post below:

Regarding the news “Petrobras wants to slow down PAC work to avoid falling gas prices”, Petrobras clarifies that the statements made about the Sergipe Águas Profundas project are not true. There is no request from Petrobras to postpone the entry into operation of the project.

On the contrary, the company makes all necessary efforts to carry out projects that will bring a greater supply of national gas to the market. We also reinforce that the bidding processes are ongoing, in order to ensure compliance with the schedule and entry into operation in the shortest possible time.
