The x-tudo, the most democratic snack in Brazil, was elected the 7th best hamburger in the world, according to the public of the gastronomic encyclopedia TasteAtlas. The ranking with the ten favorite snacks was released on Sunday (21). The sandwich scored four points — just one short of the maximum possible score.
With that, it displaced classics such as the onion burger, the famous onion burger from the state of Oklahoma, in the United States, which ranked 8th.
The American cheeseburger won first place on the list, with a score of 4.5. Completing the podium, respectively, is the juicy lucy (score 4.4), from Minneapolis, in the United States, and the Australian burger (score 4.3), from Australia.

The x-tudo is described by the atlas as “an extraordinarily tall hamburger originating in Brazil”, which has “everything with cheese”. “It doesn’t have fixed ingredients, but it always has a lot of fillings”, says the guide specialized in gastronomy.
Despite the diversity of ingredients, which vary according to regional preferences, the encyclopedia pointed out the items that usually fill x-tudo bread: beef, bacon, lettuce, tomato, corn, ham, melted cheese, sausages, mayonnaise and french fries or straw.
“This gigantic hamburger is usually served on paper trays, and eating it is no easy task – most people can’t talk about it because it’s so big, which makes the eating experience confusing,” he adds.
O TasteAtlas informs that its rankings are made based on a voting system capable of recognizing guesses from real Internet users and ignoring votes from bots or considered “nationalists”.
