The Visual and Audiovisual Arts Coordination of the Cultural Foundation of the State of Pará has registrations open until next Wednesday, the 8th, for the workshop “Experimentation Projects for Public Notices”. The action, which is part of the Liearte Project – Laboratory for Research and Experimentation in Arts, will be taught by instructor Márcio Lins.

The workshop will be held via Google Meet, from May 13th to 17th, from 7pm to 9pm, with a total of 10 hours of workload. 40 vacancies are being offered for the following target audience: artists, researchers, teachers and students in arts and related areas. It is important that participants can demonstrate their experience in the arts, whether in creation, research, production or teaching.

“In this edition, the emphasis is on expanding the content on project management”, explains Márcio Lins. “We are including aspects such as ‘schedule’, ‘budget’ and ‘execution’, aiming to offer participants a comprehensive and practical view of the development of their artistic proposals.” Furthermore, he highlighted that “the selection will give priority to professionals with proven experience in artistic performance”, seeking to enrich the workshop environment with different perspectives and experiences.

During the course, principles of developing research projects in the arts will be covered, focusing on the perception of experimental processes in various artistic expressions. The program content includes everything from raising awareness of the project as research and experimentation, to the presentation of the work and feedback to the public.

Instructor Márcio Lins is a teacher, artist and researcher. He has a doctorate in arts from UFPA and has worked as a technician at FCP for almost ten years. Lins has experience in preparing notices and monitoring contemplated artists, in addition to researching poetic processes in the arts inside and outside the academic environment.

The event is free and will issue a certificate to participants with at least 90% attendance. Interested parties can register via the link: https://bit.ly/liearte-maio24. All pre-registered participants will receive a message on their WhatsApp number by 6pm on the 9th, about their selection for the event. Those selected will have 24 hours from receiving the message to confirm their presence. Otherwise, your places will be allocated to other pre-registered candidates not previously selected.

The Fundação Cultural do Pará and its Visual and Audiovisual Arts Coordination reinforce their commitment to providing continuous training opportunities for artists, preparing an entire generation for the challenges and demands of the contemporary cultural scene in our state.
