Anyone traveling on the red line of the São Paulo subway in the next few days will probably come across the works of plastic artist, journalist and writer Ida Feldman, who is exhibiting at the Marechal Deodoro and República stations.
In a traveling exhibition, República station receives 19 works by the artist. The Marechal Deodoro station receives another ten works. The pieces, which have sentences written by her, are part of the exhibition “Ida Feldman, Philosopher of Tiles”.
Sentences such as “Things are happening”, “Every day is everyone’s day” and “There is no time to waste time” are exposed. And so it goes.
In her portfolio, the artist has experiences in cinema, photography and radio. Since 2015, she has been posting phrases on Instagram that were initially written on tiles. “I wrote a sentence at home, a friend photographed it and it went viral on the internet,” she says.

Part of what is on display has already been published on Feldman’s profile, while others were designed especially for the show. From October 7th, the traveling images will go to Clínicas station, on the green line of the subway. Afterwards, the works land in Santa Cecília.
