Opened last Monday (19/9) by the Cultural Center of the Ministry of Health (CCMS), the exhibition nanoart interconnects science, technology and art and will be on display until December at the Headquarters and Annex buildings of the Ministry of Health.
With more than 70 images and an interactive panel, the exhibition explores the technology with the scanning electron microscope, which allows obtaining images on a nano scale. When colored, they gain immense visual potential as they resemble everyday objects or abstract compositions.
The images presented are the result of a research that had a scientific purpose. “Creating the show was a challenge, as it is a scientific exhibition. We had no expertise in the subject, so we made contact with professionals who were references on the subject and we were pleasantly surprised: the professors and scientists were very open and willing to participate, correct and contribute. We just have to thank you”, highlights Edileuza dos Santos, substitute coordinator of the CCMS, in a note.
Visitation until December 2 in the connecting tunnel between the Headquarters and Annex buildings of the Ministry of Health, from Monday to Friday.
