In a shocking case that captures the attention of the entire society, Christopher Gregor, 31, is on trial for the murder of his son Corey Micciolo, just 6 years old. The incident occurred on April 2, 2021, but only came to light almost a year later, when the police formalized the accusations. According to reports, little Corey was forced to run on a treadmill at a high speed and with an increased incline, which resulted in multiple falls and serious injuries that led to his death two weeks later at a local hospital.

Christopher Gregor, a former high school football star and youth mentor, was known in the community for his past as an exemplary student and defensive back on the Monroe Township High School football team. He later became a real estate agent at Red Door Real Estate. However, his career includes several confrontations with the law in states such as Connecticut and Maryland, accumulating charges ranging from assault to robbery.

Gregor’s father, David Gregor, a highly decorated former New Jersey state trooper, could not be reached for comment. Surveillance footage from a local gym showed the severity of the training imposed on Corey, who struggled to keep up on the treadmill before he was fatally injured.

Christopher Gregor’s defense refused a plea offer that would have resulted in a 30-year prison sentence. Now, he faces the possibility of life in prison and is being held without bail.
