Cursed ship?
One interesting thing about Adella Shores is that, for a long time, it was considered cursed. Built in 1894 by the Shores Lumber Company, the vessel weighed 735 tons, and was named Adella, in honor of the owner’s daughter.
The legend of the curse, however, arose due to a series of incidents prior to its disappearance. According to what was said, he was cursed because he was baptized with water instead of champagneas the family of owners was extremely opposed to alcohol.
