Three great macabre secrets come to light in Marianinha’s letter in Renascer

What is the secret involving Marianinha (Gabriella Cristina) in Renascer? In the current version of the plot, the character soon disappeared from the scene after being raped. In the remake, Rachid is the one narrating the character’s story. He holds a letter written in his own hand by the character, who already died in the second phase.

In the original version, shown in 1993, Marianinha was abused by her father Venâncio (Cacá Carvalho). The young woman got pregnant and was kicked out of the house by the scoundrel.

In the plot shown in the past, she was found lost in the woods by Rachid (Luis Carlos Arutin). The Lebanese man decides to invite her to leave, they end up getting married, he helps raise the child and still has five more children with Marianinha.

Letter to Maria Santa

Already on her deathbed, Marianinha opens the game through a letter to her sister, Maria Santa (Patrícia França), saying that she got pregnant by her father and was kicked out of the house by her own abuser.

Remembering that, at the time, everyone thought she had been raped by Belarmino (José Wilker), but in fact the young woman’s abuser was her own father, Venâncio. The pervert decided to abandon her to hide this secret.

In the 2024 remake, the mystery will soon be revealed to the public. The adaptation has already revealed that Venâncio (Fabio Lago) was the one who abused and impregnated his own daughter. In the first episodes, he also demonstrated an unhealthy jealousy for his second daughter, Maria Santa (Duda Santos).

Marianinha’s Secret in the remake of Renascer

A few weeks ago Rachid appeared at Norberto’s (Matheus Nachtergaele) bar and met José Inocêncio again. But only now has the Lebanese revealed that he and the farmer are friends, after all, he married Marianinha, sister of Maria Santa (Duda Santos).

Together, the couple had five children. The first, the result of abuse, is called Samuel. His whereabouts are unknown, as Rachid suggests that he was a difficult boy to live with. Samuel had a daughter, the well-known Teca (Lívia Silva). Soon she will be recognized by Inácia (Edvana Carvalho) and by Rachid himself.

It is worth mentioning that, on her deathbed, Marianinha wrote a letter to her sister. Inocêncio will be driven crazy by the letter and begs Rachid to deliver it as soon as possible.

However, Rachid shows that he does not want to open the content of what is written there, since Marianinha said that the letter could only be read by Maria Santa. In the next chapters, the Lebanese will say that he set fire to the document, but Inocêncio won’t believe it and will insist that Norberto look for it everywhere.
