Juliana Paes revives Maya, from ‘Caminho das Indias’, in a TikTok trend

The trend is zero! Juliana Paes finally made her own version of the AsokaMakeup trend, which has been successful all over the world. To join in the fun, the actress decided to revive one of her most iconic characters: Maya, from the soap opera “Caminho das Indias” (2009).

Juliana appeared on social media wearing makeup, outfits and accessories inspired by Indian women, as proposed by the trend. All this while she performs the song “San Sanana”, by singer Akla Yagnik.

“Is this where they asked for Maya to come back?”, she joked, admitting that the process was hard work. “I never thought that Asoka Makeup would be something so difficult to do, guys. What’s this? But what do you ask that I don’t do, right?”

On social media, Brazilian internet users had been campaigning for Maya’s interpreter to participate in the trend.

In the comments on the video published by Juliana Paes, famous and anonymous people celebrated the feat. “Help, I loved it,” wrote Marina Ruy Barbosa. “I love it,” commented Carolina Dieckmann. “Stop”, asked Giovanna Antonelli.

An internet user also said: “The game is over! End of the trend.” “Forget it, guys. Nobody’s going to do it better. I miss Maya”, agreed another. “The most anticipated of all”, said a fan.
