Summary of Monday, 05/06/2024 – Chapter 91

Pastor Lívio listens to José Inocêncio scold Bento for wanting to sell his land and bet on politics. Augusto fears José Inocêncio’s decision to finance Bento’s political campaign in exchange for his son’s farm. Bento notices the atmosphere between Augusto and Buba. Norberto is ready to support Bento’s candidacy. Mariana catches João Pedro with Sandra. Bento tells Augusto that he will sell his land if his father gives up financing his campaign. Sandra makes it clear to Eliana that she doesn’t like Mariana. Egídio asks Sandra not to call him father.

Summary of Tuesday, 05/07/2024 – Chapter 92

Rachid and Eliana defend Sandra from Egídio’s threats. Inácia assumes that Mariana will not like the invitation that José Inocêncio made to Teca to accompany him to Ilhéus. Dona Patroa decides to leave Egídio, and Sandra celebrates. Sandra reveals to Eliana that she may be pregnant with João Pedro. Eliana feels hurt when she sees Ritinha with Damião. Damião looks for Eliana. Rachid invites Dona Patroa to dance.

Summary of Wednesday, 05/08/2024 – Chapter 93

João Pedro shows his fear to Sandra, when he sees Dona Patroa dancing with Rachid. Norberto tells Damião that Ritinha went home. José Inocêncio asks Bento to tell Lu that the teacher is authorized to teach adults. Dona Patroa seeks comfort in the arms of Pastor Lívio. Rachid hears Dona Patroa tell Sandra that her name is Iolanda Fernandez de Brito. João Pedro asks his father to let him avenge Venâncio’s death. Joana invites Egídio to visit her house only when Tião is present. Dona Patroa tells Sandra that she is sure that Egídio killed Venâncio. Sandra tells her mother that it is possible that she is pregnant with João Pedro.

Summary of Thursday, 05/09/2024 – Chapter 94

Dona Patroa fears Sandra’s possible pregnancy. Augusto tells Buba to accept the fact that he likes the psychologist. Buba decides to return to Rio. Bento pressures Kika to help Augusto. Mariana shows that she wants to be friends with Buba. José Inocêncio tells Buba that Augusto will go with her to Rio. Rachid refuses to give the letter written by the woman to Maria Santa to Pastor Lívio. Egídio is ready to invest in Bento’s campaign. Deocleciano tells José Inocêncio that Zinha saw Bento talking to Egídio at Norberto’s sale. José Inocêncio asks Teca questions about Buba. Buba introduces Augusto to her friends. Bento accepts his father’s conditions to receive financing for his political campaign. Egídio intends to harm Dona Patroa.

Summary of Friday, 05/10/2024 – Chapter 95

Joana denies to Tião that Egídio is harassing her, but makes her husband suspicious. Egídio has a nightmare. Tião tells Joana that they are leaving. Mariana doesn’t like José Inocêncio’s support for Bento’s campaign. Egídio demands money from Tião for food and housing, to prevent the employee from leaving. Joana decides to work on the farm with Tião to pay off the couple’s debt to Egídio. Buba and Augusto stay together. Augusto meets Neno and Pitoco. José Inocêncio tells Pastor Lívio that he will have to help Bento get elected. Sandra tells Dona Patroa that her mother has rights to part of Egídio’s assets. Deocletian is suspicious of the conversation João Pedro has with Damião, and advises his godson to wait for José Inocêncio’s decision regarding Venâncio’s death. Augusto finds an old photo of Buba.

Summary of Saturday, 05/11/2024 – Chapter 96

Buba tells Augusto about the family’s lack of support. Augusto asks Buba to let him take care of the psychologist. Neno and Pitoco think about the possibility of going after Teca. Dona Patroa tells Pastor Lívio about Sandra’s pregnancy. Deocletian shares with José Inocêncio his concern about João Pedro’s rush to avenge his brother’s death. Pastor Lívio advises Sandra to tell João Pedro about the pregnancy. José Inocêncio tells Damião that the employee will work directly with him. Sandra tells João Pedro that she is expecting his child.
