The appearance of a couple of jaguars on the banks of the Aquidauana River caught the attention of fishermen who were sailing through the area known as “Sour Orange”.
The newspaper The Pantanal had exclusive access to the video recorded by the men. In the images it is possible to see that the fishermen reduce the speed of the boat to enjoy the appearance of the animal.
The jaguars are in the sand, located right on the river’s edge. One of them notices the presence of the fishermen, but doesn’t seem to care as she even lies down.
“Look at the jaguar over there, kids. My God, this is so beautiful”, says one of the men on board the boat.
The recording time is not revealed, but from the sun it is possible to notice that the images were recorded in the afternoon.
Furthermore, another video, also sent to the report, shows one of the animals being seen again in the same place, however, at night. In this video, to appreciate the apparition, fishermen use a flashlight to illuminate the place where the animal is.
However, this time, the jaguar seems to be bothered by the strong light and quickly hides in the woods.
