However, the photos are of all the tabs open on the machine, and not just a screenshot of the game.
Players raise questions about procedure
This practice raises several significant ethical and privacy concerns. Firstly, transparency is crucial: players must be clearly informed about what data is being collected and why.
Furthermore, the security of this data needs to be guaranteed to prevent unauthorized access or leaks that could compromise users’ privacy. Riot speaks out

In a note, the company states: “Vanguard does not take a photo of all open tabs on your computer. It only takes a screenshot of the game, in full screen, and what your game configuration is (window/full screen without border) in case of strange actions related to cheats“.
