The new WhatsApp messenger update has reduced the list of supported smartphones. The cut includes models with the Android system, such as Motorola, Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi, LG, Sony and Samsung, as well as some iPhones.
The new update came into force last Wednesday (1st) and affects, in total, 35 models. Anyone who has any of the devices on this list should make a backup of their messages to ensure they are not lost, or migrate them to a new model.
