We have all seen images of the Sun, however, as space missions dedicated to the study of this central star of our Solar System continue, we learn more details through increasingly clear images and videos.
An example of this is the video captured on September 27, 2023 by the European Space Agency’s Solar Orbiter mission, which allows us to observe the outer layer of the Sun in great detail. It is interesting to note an apparent smoother texture, with a series of small particles being emitted to its surface.
It is worth mentioning that the Solar Orbiter will get even closer to the Sun, being able to capture even clearer images. According to the website Gizmodo, on October 7, the European Space Agency plans an approach in which the probe will be just 43 million kilometers from the Sun.
In the meantime, you can check out the latest video captured by Solar Orbiter.
