Minardi sees Red Bull divided and points out Verstappen’s caution in Miami

Gian Carlo Minardi, founder of the former Minardi Formula 1 team, believes that Lando Norris’ victory in Miami exposed internal weaknesses at Red Bull Racing.

There was already speculation about a tense atmosphere between Christian Horner and Helmut Marko, and Minardi reinforces this view. “Red Bull seems to have lost the tranquility that characterized it in recent seasons. This probably has to do with known internal problems,” said the Italian on his official website.

Despite the turbulence, Minardi recognizes Red Bull’s strength. “They continue to be the car to beat, but Max Verstappen, who took pole position twice in Miami and won the Sprint race, finishing second in the GP, seems to have resigned himself to the result without taking any major risks”, believes Minardi .

The Italian expects Ferrari to join McLaren in the fight for the top spot. “Now we are waiting for a reaction from Ferrari. They will have an important package of updates in Ímola”, concluded Minardi.
