Impressive photos show the flooding of Internacional’s Beira-Rio pitch this Monday morning (6), in Porto Alegre. With the overflow and the highest level in the history of the Guaíba River, the surroundings of the stadium are also flooded.
From the images, it is also possible to see that the Gigantinho gym, which is next to Beira-Rio and received donations, access is also blocked by the enormous volume of water. According to the balance updated by local authorities, 83 people died and another 111 were missing due to the rains in Rio Grande do Sul.

Last Friday (3), the CT Parque Gigante, from Inter, was completely flooded by the rain. O Colorado even lost important documents and equipment.
Due to the impacts of rain, the Conmebol accepted Inter’s request and postponed the game against Real Tomayapo, for the Copa Sudamericana. The teams would face each other on Tuesday (7), in Tarija, Bolivia.

Storms in RS
In a chaotic scenario, 345 municipalities in the state were hit by storms and, consequently, 850,400 people were directly affected by the damage.
According to the State Government, 21,957 people are homeless. Another 276 people are injured and 19,368 are in temporary shelters.
