Rome Italy) – The preparation for the Masters 1000 in Rome is already in full swing and the main players are gradually showing up in training sessions. The only Brazilian guaranteed in the men’s main draw so far, Thiago Wild from Paraná had as his training partner this Sunday none other than Rafael Nadal, owner of ten titles in the Italian capital.

The two played ball and competed for some points on the Central Court of Foro Italico, and Wild took the opportunity to take a photo with the King of Clay at the end of the activity, as did coach Duda Matos, who also wanted to record the moment alongside the Spanish multi-champion.

While Wild awaits the draw to find out who will be their first opponent in Rome, two other Brazilians will compete in the qualifiers: Ceará’s Thiago Monteiro will try his third participation in the tournament, the second in a row, and Felipe Meligeni is looking for an unprecedented place in the competition after falling in the final round of quali last year. In the women’s category, Beatriz Haddad Maia will be the only tennis player from the country in the dispute.
